About the Information Technology (IT) Division, EDB[What you will be working on]
Key roles and responsibilities
Oversee the entire product lifecycle of assigned digital products, from planning to execution in support of EDB strategy or digitalobjectives.
Conductmarket research and gather customer feedback toidentifynew product opportunities and improve existing products
Develop andmaintaina vision and product roadmap that aligns with businessobjectivesand customer needs
Work closely with stakeholders and across teams to define product requirements and ensuretimelydelivery of high-quality products
Overseeproduct design and development including settingtime framesand clear deliverables
Implementproduct roll out and communication planand provide support throughout the product life cycle including reviews where needed.
Establish andensureappropriate governancefunctions for the productin accordance withSingapore Government and enterprisepolicies, practices and on behalf of the executive sponsor.
Lead and manageproject team members throughout the product life cycleto ensurethat product goals areaccomplishedon schedule, within budget, and in line with businessobjectives.
Conduct procurementactivitiessuch as tendersandrequests for proposals to obtain solutions and services for the delivery of the product.
Review proposals or plans (internal or provided by external service provider) todeterminetime frame, funding limitations, procedures foraccomplishingprojects, staffing requirements and allotment of available departmental resources to various project phases.
Partner with theInformation Securitycolleagues toconduct risk assessment and mitigation and ensure compliance with government and EDB policies, risk management, implementation, change management and system performance.
Establish standards and procedures for reporting and documentation.
Continuously benchmark teamproductperformance toidentifyimprovements and achieve higher capability maturity.
Lead and managea team of support personnel to provide ongoing run-and-maintenance of IT systems.
[What we are looking for]
Tobe successful inthis role, youshould have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, orequivalent work experience
At least3years of experience in product management working with various business units to launch and manage complex and high-risk products.
Strong knowledge ofproductmanagementmethodologyand experience, or familiarity with majorframeworks implementing Agile principles, e.g.,XP (preferred), Scrum, Kanban, Lean Development.Product or Project Management Professional training and certification will be an added advantage, e.g., PMI, Prince II, MSP.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken including ability and experience ininfluencing,engagingand managing stakeholders across all levels of seniority internally and externally
Possess a driven, self-motivated, and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and is a team player
Familiarity with generative AI tools and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) and understanding of their applications in product management practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing product teams.
Exceptional planning and execution skills
