The Role
We are seeking a commercially minded Product Manager to drive the growth and success of the EMIS proposition across Southeast Asia.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, data, and commercial execution. You will act as its primary advocate while working closely with Sales, Marketing, Content Licensing, Product Development and Technology teams to drive ACV growth, customer retention, and market expansion.
You will play a key role in supporting sales opportunities, shaping monetisation and go‑to‑market strategies, and ensuring that EMIS products clearly articulate value to B2B customers using it for Market Intelligence, M&A and Investment or Credit & Risk workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Growth Ownership
- Drive the commercial growth of the EMIS proposition across Southeast Asia, with a clear focus on revenue impact, ACV growth, and customer expansion.
- Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to define go-to-market strategies for the EMIS product line, articulate product positioning, win new opportunities and increase retention.
- Act as a product expert in commercial conversations, helping translate product capabilities and data assets into compelling customer value propositions.
Product Strategy & Execution
- Own and maintain the regional product roadmap, aligning initiatives with commercial priorities, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Translate regional market insights, customer feedback, and competitive analysis into clear, prioritised product requirements.
- Develop product strategy, specifications, and business cases aligned to revenue targets and monetisation opportunities.
- Ensure EMIS products remain competitive by actively monitoring market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor offerings.
Customer & Market Understanding
- Establish and maintain regular direct contact with clients, prospects, distributors, and partners to develop a deep understanding of B2B workflows, pain points, and decision drivers.
- Act as the primary product contact for clients and internal stakeholders within the region, supporting also commercial initiatives.
- Deliver product demonstrations at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Go‑to‑Market & Enablement
- Lead local go‑to‑market initiatives, ensuring alignment between product strategy, commercial messaging, and sales readiness.
- Equip Sales and Support teams with product training, materials, competitive insights, and clear positioning to enable deal success.
- Identify local content needs and lead content procurement initiatives, including price and contract negotiations with data providers.
Required
Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience working in market intelligence, strategic planning, consultancy, sell-side organisations, or in B2B SaaS product management.
- Deep understanding of the content landscape in Southeast Asia, including sourcing and analysis of company information, and Industry & sector analysis, with a good regional and emerging market awareness.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting revenue growth, ACV expansion, or monetisation initiatives in partnership with Sales.
- Experience working with subscription‑based, licensed, or data‑driven products will be considered a plus
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a global organisation and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication skills and command of English language, comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial audiences.
- Data‑driven decision‑maker with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in product management for B2B SaaS information products.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
