Own the category's revenue, profitability, and gross margin performance, ensuring achievement of business targets.
Analyse financial results and implement corrective actions to drive sustainable growth.
Develop and optimize product assortments to meet customer needs, market demands, and business objectives.
Regularly review SKU productivity and execute portfolio rationalization where necessary.
Establish pricing frameworks and margin strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
Conduct regular pricing reviews and recommend adjustments based on market conditions and cost changes.
Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and consumer trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Provide market insights and recommendations to support category strategy and decision-making.
Highly analytical and ability to interpret SKU / category gaps from independent party complimentary or subscribed reports and take corrective measures and capitalize on opportunities.
Develop accurate sales forecasts and collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Analyse sales performance and demand trends to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
Lead cross-functional product launch activities and ensure effective execution of go-to-market plans.
Support sales and marketing teams with product training, positioning, and promotional strategies.
Manage the sourcing, inventory planning, and availability of spare parts to support after-sales service requirements.
Ensure timely spare parts supply while optimizing inventory costs and service levels.
Assist with any other assignments or ad hoc tasks as required.
Manage and make operational decisions for the assigned Floor Care and Home Care product portfolio within approved company policies, budget, and Delegation of Authority (DOA).
Recommend product development, sourcing, pricing, promotional activities, and supplier negotiations, with approvals obtained in accordance with the Company's DOA.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, or related commercial roles, preferably within consumer durables, home care, floor care, or small domestic appliances.
Proven experience in supplier sourcing and management, product development, category P&L ownership, pricing strategy, and revenue growth.
Strong analytical, forecasting, inventory planning, and commercial decision-making skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Willing to travel locally and internationally when required.
