Overview
Our client is a company under a major Japanese corporate group headquartered in Japan.
They are currently accelerating the global expansion of their proprietary digital transformation (DX) service for the construction industry and are looking for a Product Manager to play a key role in driving this initiative.
This position will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for leading the localization and business expansion of a DX service originally developed in Japan. You will design market-specific strategies by understanding differences in market conditions and business practices, while driving product development and business growth in overseas markets.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the overall product lifecycle of construction DX services (interior works, fittings, etc.)
- Plan, improve, and make release decisions based on on-site challenges and user needs
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis, and develop and execute business strategies
- Oversee financial performance (P&L) and optimize business models
- Identify and develop partnerships and strategic alliances
- Develop sales and marketing strategies targeting general contractors and subcontractors
- Build relationships with government bodies and related organizations, and lead PR activities
Required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese for internal and external communication
- Experience in directing DX or product development projects
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the construction industry (especially interior works)
- Ability to work in Singapore or undertake long-term assignments in Singapore
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
Preferred
- Experience in business strategy or DX strategy development
- Experience in product management
- Experience in IT/Web industry or consulting firms
- Experience managing business operations with P&L responsibility
- Management experience and leadership skills
Benefits
- Annual salary: SGD 90,000 – 145,000 (negotiable based on experience and skills)
- Monthly salary: SGD 5,700 – 9,000
- Flexible working hours (core time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
