The Product Manager (DX) - Japanese Speaker role plays a key part in the global expansion of a proprietary digital transformation service for the construction industry. Based in Singapore, the position will lead the localisation and business expansion of a service originally developed in Japan, creating market-specific strategies that reflect differences in market conditions and business practices. The role offers exposure to global business development while driving product development, overseas market growth, and transformation across the construction industry.
Responsibilities
Manage the overall product lifecycle of construction DX services, including solutions for interior works and fittings
Plan product improvements and make release decisions based on on-site challenges and user needs
Conduct market research and competitive analysis, and develop and execute business strategies
Oversee financial performance, including profit and loss, and optimise business models
Identify and develop partnerships and strategic alliances
Develop sales and marketing strategies targeting general contractors and subcontractors
Build relationships with government bodies and related organisations, and lead public relations activities
Requirements
Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese for internal and external communication
Experience directing DX or product development projects
Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience in the construction industry, particularly interior works
Ability to work in Singapore or undertake a long-term assignment in Singapore
Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
Preferred qualifications:
Experience developing business or DX strategies
Experience in product management
Experience in the Information Technology (IT), web, or consulting sector
Experience managing business operations with profit and loss responsibility
Management experience and leadership skills

Annual salary of SGD 90,000 to 145,000, negotiable based on experience and skills
Monthly salary of SGD 5,700 to 9,000
Flexible working hours with core hours from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
