Job Description
The Product Manager, Delivery and Distribution Network is critical to the development of quality products and experiences for our customers and their consumers, directly responsible for the success of SingPost's domestic business.
Through the expert understanding of the delivery landscape and customer needs in Singapore, the Product Manager shall work with internal teams to ensure superior product implementation and customer / consumer satisfaction.
Key focus on bridging the gap between market needs and operational execution, ensuring SingPost's distribution products are competitive, profitable, and centered around both enterprise clients and the end-consumer experience.
Responsibility:
- Define and own the Product Roadmap, identifying high-impact features and continuous improvements that maintain SingPost's competitive edge in deliveries and distributions services
- Conduct market-deep dives and customer workshops to uncover logistical pain points, translating these insights into new product builds or specialised Proof-of-Concepts (POCs).
- Champion a Consumer-Centric approach, ensuring that deliveries and distribution services are optimised for user adoption and customer / consumer satisfaction.
- Drive the execution of new capabilities, overseeing the transition from design to technical build-out.
- Direct the Quality Assurance process, including leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing bug fixes, and providing hypercare support during critical rollout phases to ensure zero-defect transitions.
- Technical Enablement: Work closely with technology teams to ensure the underlying architecture (TMS/Tracking) supports the commercial requirements of the product.
- Drive Revenue and Profitability: Act as the primary business owner for assigned products, managing the commercial health and unit economics of the distribution vertical.
- Tender & Bid Support: Serve as the strategic lead for major customer bids, designing bespoke logistics solutions that align SingPost's capabilities with the complex requirements of enterprise tenders.
- KPI Tracking: Establish and monitor performance metrics focusing on product adoption rates, customer satisfaction scores (CSAT/NPS), and operational margin.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between technology, finance, customer services, and operational stakeholders to ensure the product vision is successfully delivered on the ground.
- Conduct Product Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal sales/ops teams and external clients to ensure the product's value proposition is fully understood and maximised.
Education & Certifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experiences.
- End-to-End Value Chain Architecture: Beyond basic domain knowledge, an advanced ability to orchestrate the integration of First-mile, Last-mile, Returns, and PUDO networks into a unified product offering that solves complex enterprise supply chain challenges.
- Network Strategy: Proven track record in designing distribution models that balance network density with service requirements
- Logistics Tech Knowledge: Strategic proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Visibility Platforms, not just for troubleshooting, but for defining the technical requirements of next-generation tracking and automation tools.
- Unit Economics & P&L Ownership: Advanced level mastery of operational costing and commercial modeling to ensure products are priced for market penetration while maintaining healthy margins.
- Business Case Orchestration: Ability to translate complex operational spend data into compelling investment cases for new product capabilities or infrastructure expansion.
- Strategic Business Analysis: Moving beyond reporting to predictive modeling; using data to identify market trends, shift product direction, and conduct macro-level commercial impact analyses that drive executive-level decisions.
- Performance Benchmarking: Establishing the North Star metrics for consumer satisfaction, adoption, and profitability across the delivery and distribution vertical.
- Strategic Solutioning: The ability to synthesize deep pain point discovery into scalable product features that serve entire industry verticals (e.g., Healthcare, FMCG) rather than bespoke, one-off fixes.
- Standardization Leadership: Transforming complex requirements into global service standards that ensure consistency across the SingPost network while meeting stringent industry KPIs.
- Strategic Negotiation: Skilled in high-stakes negotiations with both major enterprise clients and internal C-suite stakeholders to align resources with product vision.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams (Tech, Ops, Sales) to deliver on a customer-centric roadmap without direct hierarchical authority.
