A company in the private banking and wealth management industry is hiring for a Product Manager cum Dealer position.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established wealth management platform serving high net worth clients. The role offers exposure to a broad range of investment products and close collaboration with regional stakeholders, providing the opportunity to contribute to product development, investment advisory support, trade execution, and platform enhancement initiatives.
Job Description
- Partner closely with the regional Investment Products team to support a growing wealth management business serving high net worth clients.
- Assist in providing investment market updates and support the placement and execution of investment trades across FX, bonds, equities, funds, and structured products.
- Conduct due diligence on new investment products and perform ongoing reviews of existing products within the investment platform.
- Generate and distribute investment ideas while articulating investment concepts to Relationship Managers and their clients.
- Gather business requirements and support system enhancement projects aimed at delivering an industry-leading trading platform and user experience.
- Maintain oversight of investment product dealing infrastructure, operational processes, sales documentation, product agreements, and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, and regional business teams to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Monitor market developments and regulatory changes, recommending enhancements to frameworks, tools, and processes where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Degree holder with at least 5–7 years of product management or dealing experience covering FX, bonds, equities, funds, or structured products.
- Strong knowledge of economics, investment products, market practices, and wealth management solutions.
- Experience working with trading and dealing platforms, including bond and equity execution systems.
- Mandatory possession of CACS Paper 1 & 2 and relevant CMFAS certifications, including M1, M2, M5, M6, and M7.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to engage effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
