Beep is a Singapore-headquartered IoT platform provider, with an established track record tracking over 1.5 million monthly transactions across thousands of unattended retail touch-points for customers in 5 countries in South-East Asia, including nationwide initiatives with the Singapore government and leading FMCGs.
Voltality is Beep's eMobility arm, focused on providing a borderless, interoperable charging experience. With an emphasis on enabling seamless access through a robust ecosystem of partnerships, Voltality has grown to serve regional and country leading navigation, logistics, ride-hailing, leasing, and consumer payments providers. Having built Southeast Asia's largest EV roaming network in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand with over 9000 live charge points today, Voltality is now scaling up its operations into additional markets and partners.

As a Product Manager (eMobility) in Singapore, you will collaborate with our business and technical teams, together with other Product team members, to scope, design, concept test and deliver functional and high-impact products. You are expected to act as the voice of our customers, evangelising their needs and working closely with them to gain an understanding of user personas, journeys and pain points. You will be given significant agency to lead the product roadmap in concert with engineering and management leads, guided by product feedback gathered through surveys, user outreach and analytics tools.
This role is hybrid, and besides flexible office hours you are expected to be able to travel for on-site business meetings and product or technical validation tests. These will primarily be within Singapore, but may involve overseas visits across South-East Asia based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical and product matters with partners and clients.
- Lead discussions on scoping and implementation details ensuring seamless and efficient integrations.
- Design and create clear, comprehensive materials to visualize, track, coordinate, and educate development processes for both internal and external use.
- Work closely with the tech and design team to transform requirements into actionable tasks and solutions.
- Conduct both primary and secondary research to identify, analyze and benchmark other solutions available in the market, whilst gathering insights on our own solutions.
- Provide recommendations based on findings to influence product roadmaps and prioritize feature development.
- Collaborate across business and engineering teams to ensure alignment in product offerings and strategies.
- Be involved in the testing phase for product implementations, working with the QA team to ensure products meet the highest quality assurance standards.
- Facilitate feedback loops with partners and clients, ensuring their input is integrated into continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience in any technical related field (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Technology Management, Business Management with Innovation & Technology) is significantly beneficial.
- Prior internship or working experience in any Product and/or Software Engineering or adjacent roles
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in English
- Ability and license to drive (passenger car)
- High proficiency in, or ability to easily adapt to, product related tools including Jira, Figma, Confluence and Microsoft Office suite
- Passion for building seamless and intuitive user experiences
- Familiarity with concepts encompassing software development (such as the software development lifecycle), project & product management.

Optional but preferable skills:
- Prior experience in the eMobility and/or fintech industry, working on digital payments or any part of the electric vehicle and electric vehicle charging stack
- An understanding of any or all of the eMobility protocols (e.g. OCPI/OCPP/EVCS/OICP)
- Comfortable in interpreting, creating and editing technical work including API documentations and sequence diagrams.
- Experience shipping mobile and desktop products
- Experience managing communications and projects with multiple parties
- Ability to communicate clearly at different levels, be they end users (e.g. drivers), engineers or stakeholders
- An eye for detail when it comes to nuances in user experience and in technical aspects
