Job Description:
As a Product Manager Intern for SeaTalk, you will support the endtoend product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and iteration and help explore how AI can enhance SeaTalk. You will:
- Respond promptly and effectively to user queries, providing clear and comprehensive guidance.
- Perform initial troubleshooting, conducting research to identify potential root causes of reported issues.
- Ensure timely resolution or escalation of problems through close collaboration with the Engineering team, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Identify patterns and trends in reported issues to improve product stability and quality, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with your mentor PM to design solutions that effectively address business needs, while considering the balance between execution speed and long-term sustainability.
- Work with AI teams and PMs to explore how LLMs and other AI capabilities can improve user experience and productivity (e.g. AI agent, copilot, smarter search, summarisation), and help drive pilots/experiments where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with designers and engineers throughout the development process to deliver high-quality product solutions.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics or related fields (or equivalent project experience).
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Effective troubleshooting skills, a great problem solver with the ability to structure an action plan
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, including product, engineering, design and data.
- Strong logical and structured thinking: able to break down ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, user stories and prioritised tasks.
- Genuine interest in AI: familiar with basic concepts (e.g. LLMs, Agents, Tool Calling) and motivated to learn how to apply them to real product use cases.
- Adaptable, openminded, and comfortable working with ambiguity and changes
- Prior internship/project experience in product management, product ownership, business process modelling, or process improvement is preferred
