We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Information & Regulatory Affairs (PIRA) Specialist to join our Regulatory team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a long-term career in regulatory affairs while gaining valuable exposure to local and international food regulations, religious compliance systems, and cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Quality, and Portfolio teams.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring regulatory accuracy, maintaining data integrity, and supporting processes that enable smooth market access and sustainable business growth. You will report directly to the Product Information & Regulatory Affairs Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Risk Assessment & Product Compliance
- Support regulatory risk assessments to ensure products comply with applicable local and international food safety laws.
- Stay updated on food and flavour legislation for assigned markets and monitor regulatory developments.
- Highlight relevant regulatory updates for internal review and assessment.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal regulatory tools, templates, and guidance documents.
Religious Compliance (Halal & Kosher)
- Support documentation and record maintenance under the religious management system.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining Halal and Kosher compliance systems to ensure audit readiness.
- Coordinate certification applications, renewals, and audit activities.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to Halal- and Kosher-related inquiries.
Internal & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Prepare documentation & materials to support customer regulatory inquiries.
- Assist with regulatory projects, including data compilation, compliance summaries, and reports.
- Support activities related to the assigned food safety management system in accordance with established procedures.
- Contribute to ad hoc regulatory initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, or related discipline with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the flavour or F&B industry, or
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related discipline. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in regulatory affairs are welcome to apply.
- Experience in product documentation, regulatory submissions, or compliance activities will be an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
