Product Implementation Specialist

We are looking for an exceptional Product Specialist to join our Implementation Team, responsible for the end-to-end onboarding and data integration journey for SteelEye clients across the APAC region.

This role sits at the intersection of client delivery, data integration, and product configuration, working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and regional client teams to ensure successful onboarding, Proof of Concept (PoC) execution, and transition to live Trade and Communication Surveillance.

The role is hands-on, client-facing, and delivery-oriented, with ownership over complex trading data integrations and surveillance outcomes, rather than pure project coordination.

While prior experience in trade surveillance is highly valuable, we are equally open to candidates with broader financial services, data, or implementation experience who are keen to deepen their expertise in surveillance and regulatory technology. The role offers strong exposure to trading data, execution flows, and compliance use cases, with support from experienced internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities:-

• Drive client implementation projects from contract signature through to go-live, owning delivery outcomes across data onboarding, configuration, training, and launch.
• Run structured client workshops to confirm data availability, data quality, field mappings and transformations, and trade lifecycle assumptions, providing confident guidance and challenging gaps and edge cases where required
• Translate signed SoWs and Solution Design Documents into clear implementation scope and delivery plans, working closely with Sales and Pre-Sales where needed to align delivery expectations.
• Lead the analysis, validation, and integration of financial trading and communications data into the SteelEye data platform.
• Own delivery execution with Engineering and Product, driving build, QA, deployment readiness, and resolution of technical blockers through to go-live.
• Deliver client training and support surveillance rule calibration, demonstrating strong domain understanding, product knowledge, and practical understanding of how trading data drives surveillance outcomes.
• Provide clear, concise weekly status updates to clients and internal stakeholders, surfacing delivery risks early and driving resolution.
• Identify upsell or expansion opportunities during implementation and go-live, feeding insights back into Sales and Account Management to support account growth.

Key Skills and Experience

We do not expect candidates to meet every requirement below; strong candidates will demonstrate depth in several areas and the ability to grow into others.

• End-to-end implementation ownership with proven experience delivering complex client implementations from contract signature through to go-live.
• Trade surveillance domain understanding with a strong understanding of how order and execution data underpins trade surveillance use cases and platform behaviour.
• Asset class knowledge with practical understanding of trading workflows across asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, FX, and Fixed Income, and how these differences impact data structures and surveillance outcomes.
• Client-facing delivery credibility with the ability to lead workshops, training, and delivery discussions with confidence, providing clear guidance and challenging assumptions where required.
• Surveillance configuration and calibration experience supporting surveillance rule configuration, calibration, or tuning, and explaining outcomes to clients.
• Technical translation skills with the ability to translate SoWs, Solution Design Documents, and business requirements into clear delivery plans and technical specifications.
• Engineering collaboration with comfort working closely with Engineering and Product to drive build, QA, deployment readiness, and resolution of technical blockers.
• Data quality and analytical capability with strong attention to data quality, validation, and reconciliation, using tools such as Excel and Python.
• Delivery governance and communication with the ability to provide clear status updates, manage delivery risk, and maintain stakeholder confidence throughout implementation.
• Ownership mindset and learning agility with a delivery-focused, accountable approach and the ability to quickly build knowledge in new products, data sources, or surveillance use cases.
• Fluent English communication skills both written and verbal, with additional languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, or Japanese being highly advantageous.
