Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research to identify user needs and market trends. Develop detailed mechanical designs, including drawings, models, and specifications. Collaborate with engineers to ensure technological standards and performance metrics are met. Select suitable materials and manufacturing processes for design projects. Assist in building and testing prototypes to validate design functionality. Analyze test results to refine designs for improved performance. Work with cross-functional teams including industrial designers and manufacturing teams to transition products from concept to production. Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and making necessary adjustments based on stakeholder input. Communicate with suppliers to assess design feasibility and cost efficiency. Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, including specifications and revisions. Undertake any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in mechanical product design. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Strong understanding of product development processes, materials, and manufacturing practices. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
