Product Development Manager

Responsibility:

• Liaise with R&D at HQ for issue pertaining to product specification, changes and modification.
• Analyse technical issue related to products and processes.
• Analyse customer requirements for issues related to product specifications.
• Recommend corrective action for improvement of products characteristics and quality
• Identify and recommend resources required for new projects / products
• Co-ordinate projects related to new product and product transfer
• Approving of change information
• Promulgate risk base thinking and process approach
• Contribute and support towards the success of the Integrated Management System

Requirement:

• Education in any Science discipline with at least 2 years of managerial experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in production control
• Strong leadership, communicative and receptive
• Discreet and analytical in problem solving
• Practical knowledge in ISO 9001 & 14001
• Possess good interpersonal, communication skills and strong leadership skills
• Understanding of product and mold drawings
• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese to work with HQ and Japanese Clients
• Possess practical skill in mold assembly and mold condition setting
• Competency in designing & the use of CAD-CAM software
• In depth understanding of blue print reading
