1. Requirement Assessment & Product Design
- Participate in feasibility analysis of customer requirements, evaluating product profitability and technical viability.
- Translate customer expectations regarding product functionality and reliability into actionable quality standards, such as Special Characteristics and critical dimension control.
2. Pilot Production & Testing Leadership - Organize and lead trial runs, responsible for appearance, dimensional, functional, and reliability testing, while coordinating customer sample validation.
- Lead the preparation of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation package to ensure successful customer approval and transition to mass production.
3. Cross-Department Collaboration & Issue Resolution - Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers in China, mold development teams, and others to resolve quality issues during the development phase.
- Analyze anomalies from trial production, drive corrective actions, and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in product design, development, or quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Hands-on experience with PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and other quality planning tools.
- Familiar with quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Experience in leading trial builds (Trial Runs), sample testing, and validation activities.
- Skilled in using CAD tools and engineering drawings.
- Experience with quality or project management systems (e.g., SAP, PLM, QMS) is a plus.
- B3 in O Level Chinese, or equivalent, is required to support Chinese speaking internal and external stakeholder.
