Product Controller - Energy Trading

Description

Our client is a leading energy conglomerate with a global presence across the oil and gas value chain. Its Singapore office serves as the regional trading and commercial hub, overseeing the marketing, trading, and commercial management of energy products while supporting the group's global portfolio. Due to internal mobility, they are looking for a Product Controller to join the team

Role

Reporting to Middle Office Manager. The role is responsible for daily trade reconciliation across physical and derivative portfolios, monitoring trading positions and exposures, preparing P&L and risk reports, supporting MTM valuation and curve validation, performing month-end reconciliations, ensuring trade accuracy with front-office stakeholders, driving process improvements, and serving as a key user for trading systems and reporting platforms.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Business, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 years of experience in product control or market risk. Working experience with an energy trading company is preferred. The ideal candidate possesses high integrity, strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trading-related systems is required.
