RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Producer, you will:
- Pitch, research, script and produce content guided by editorial intent and audience relevance
- Conduct research calls with external parties and source for studio guests within a tight turnaround time
- Script and structure discussion points to guide engaging talk show and forum conversations
- Work with internal stakeholders regularly to conceptualize and execute cross-platform content
- Craft attractive and accurate articles, titles and thumbnails for videos uploaded on 8world online platforms
QUALIFICATIONS- Degree preferably in Mass Communications, Journalism, New Media or Chinese Studies
- Prior experience in Current Affairs content production, and/or print journalism will be an advantage
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese language
- Possess a sharp news sense, with good knowledge of local news and current affairs
- Possess good analytical skills, initiative and resourcefulness
- An independent thinker who is also a team player. Able to work under time pressure
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including some weekends and public holidays
