Job Summary
Support procurement and project teams by managing sourcing, purchase orders, supplier relations, and compliance to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project needs.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services following project specifications and company policies
- Prepare and process purchase orders, delivery orders, and supplier invoices accurately and timely
- Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, and material catalogs to ensure data accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, confirm delivery schedules, and verify order details
- Monitor deliveries to ensure on-time receipt of goods and proactively resolve supply delays or issues
- Assist in conducting cost comparisons, evaluating suppliers, and preparing contract documentation
- Coordinate with project and site teams to fulfill procurement requirements promptly and accurately
- Support internal audits by ensuring procurement procedures and documentation comply with standards
- Assist in preparing procurement reports, tracking budgets, and managing inventory levels
- Support the Project Management team with documentation preparation and processing tasks
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support procurement and project functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of procurement or administration experience, preferably in construction or engineering
- Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and basic contract administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience with ERP systems is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
- Detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
