Role And Responsibilities
- Ensure procurement quality control standards are met across all equipment and documentation
- Conduct comprehensive document reviews to verify compliance with technical and contractual specifications
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in pump systems, including API 610 and API 676 standards
- Provide expertise in compressors, with knowledge of API 617, API 618, and API 619 equipment
- Possess sound knowledge of pressure vessels, in accordance with ASME Section VIII
- Be familiar with offshore oil & gas civil specifications, ensuring engineering practices align with industry standards
- Monitor and inspect vendor manufacturing activities to ensure quality compliance
- Maintain a comprehensive documentation system for all procurement quality records
- Attend internal and client meetings to report on procurement quality status and issues
Education
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, those who match experience requirements may be considered.
- IRCA Certification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experiences in offshore Procurement within an Engineering context
- Relevant industry experience (would be ideal)
Key Skills
- Fluency in both Chinese and English (verbal and written) is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- In-depth technical understanding of rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with vendor surveillance processes and international standards.
