Procurement Manager (Manufacturing / Aerospace / OEM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the procurement team, providing guidance and support for effective execution and development.

• Drive procurement performance metrics such as on-time delivery, cost variance, and supplier compliance.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, development, consolidation, and strategic initiatives.

• Lead regional or global sourcing activities, making decisions on supplier selection, cost targets, and alignment with business strategy.

• Build strong supplier relationships and manage performance, corrective actions, and improvement programs.

• Negotiate contracts to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and risk objectives.

• Oversee procurement operations, ensuring compliance with policies and support for manufacturing requirements.

• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing to inform sourcing strategies.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations for supplier qualification, NPI projects, and continuous improvement.

• Prepare bid packages and guide team members on sourcing, negotiation, and supplier engagement.

• Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical discipline supply chain certifications (APICS/ISM) are a plus.

• 5-10 years in supply chain or procurement, ideally in engineer-to-order manufacturing, OEM, or aerospace.

• Proven leadership experience with ability to manage teams and drive performance.

• Strong understanding of production, inventory flows, and materials management.
