Our client is a well-established regional organisation within the food manufacturing and distribution sector, and we are looking for an experienced procurement function to support business growth and operational excellence.

This role will lead end-to-end procurement activities, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, supply continuity, and food safety compliance.

about the job

• Manage sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and consumables to support production and business needs

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to optimise cost, quality, lead times, and long-term partnerships

• Oversee supplier performance, compliance with food safety standards, and resolution of quality or delivery issues

• Drive inventory planning in collaboration with operations to balance availability, shelf life, and working capital

• Lead cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives while mitigating supply chain risks

• Partner cross-functionally with QA, Operations, Finance, and Logistics on planning, audits, and new product introductions

skills and experience required

• Min. 5 years of relevant procurement experience in handling poultry/seafood/perishables or any food manufacturing/distribution industry
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Food Science related field.
