Responsibilities
- Develop and execute APAC procurement strategies aligned with demand plans and margin targets
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimise cost, quality, service, and risk
- Define and track category KPIs including savings, contract coverage, OTIF, quality, and risk mitigation
- Establish vendor selection frameworks evaluate and onboard suitable suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to deliver cost savings and value
- Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery
- Conduct reviews of trade documentation and contract terms to mitigate procurement risks
- Analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to identify risks and opportunities
- Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Support NPD commercialisation through OEM feasibility, costing inputs, and trial coordination
- Collaborate with QA and Supply Chain to ensure supplier readiness and documentation for product launches
Requirements
- More than 10 years of procurement management experience in FMCG or brand owner environments
- Strong track record in vendor sourcing, negotiations, and cost/value delivery
- Experience managing supplier performance and procurement KPIs
- Hands-on experience supporting NPD commercialisation with OEM/contract manufacturers (feasibility, costing, trials, scale-up readiness)
- Proven ability to manage multiple local and regional procurement projects concurrently
