Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and manage procurement operations across multiple business units. This role involves leading a team, developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials and services. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management, particularly in a project-driven or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the procurement team to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee and coordinate all purchasing activities across the group.
- Establish and maintain effective procurement systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular reviews of purchasing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of materials and services.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions.
- Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender documents conduct bid analysis and contract negotiations.
- Recommend, review, and approve supplier contracts, focusing on value and quality.
- Authorize purchase orders and review payment approvals in line with financial controls.
- Manage asset disposal processes in compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant legal requirements.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Provide strategic input on contract awards and support the establishment of favorable contract terms.
- Lead procurement analysis and tender evaluations to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within a project-based or industrial environment (e.g., precast or ready-mix).
- Must have experience in building materials manufacturing companies/
- Proven expertise in tender processes, contract review, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong communication and vendor management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to support project documentation and adhere to timelines.
- Collaborative, proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the BCA index or similar procurement frameworks is an advantage.
