We Are Looking For

Procurement Manager/Assistant Manager, supporting and guiding procurement activities across multiple countries on specific tasks. As a Platform Procurement Asst manager/Manager, you will drive procurement excellence through strong data, market insight, and cross-country collaboration.

You will own procurement dashboards and reports, including spend management, lead-time studies, and OPEX cost benchmarking, to enable clear and timely decision-making. You will lead Scope 3 ESG initiatives from a procurement perspective, drive improvement actions, and maintain clear ESG dashboards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will manage vendor communication through regular newsletters and lead key space data center categories such as racks, rPDUs, fiber, cable trays, and other customer-facing equipment.
  • You will also act as an internal Quantity Surveyor (QS) where required, supporting cost validation across projects.
  • A key part of the role is identifying commodity price drivers, analyzing their impact, and supporting risk-aware procurement decisions. You will release RFPs and RFQs, support platform and country buyers, and handle procurement for new countries as business needs evolve.
  • Working closely with country teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure cost competitiveness, lead-time alignment, contractual clarity, strong data integrity, and compliance with procurement governance. You may act directly as a buyer or provide hands-on support to local teams when required.
  • Beyond country responsibilities, you will contribute to global procurement processes, platform initiatives, and special projects, continuously improving procurement strategy and execution. Occasional business travel may be required.
  • Focusing main objectives:

Objective 1: Dashboard, Reporting & Market Intelligence

Own and maintain procurement dashboards (spend, savings, KPIs), prepare MIS reports for HQ, ensure data accuracy across countries, and analyze commodity price levers for decision-making.

Objective 2: Country Procurement Support

Act as buyer for assigned/new countries, ensure speed and compliance, guide sourcing strategy and vendor selection, and align local procurement with timelines and cost objectives.

Objective 3: RFP / RFQ Management

Lead and execute RFPs/RFQs for data center projects, support supplier evaluation and negotiations, and ensure sourcing meets cost, lead-time, quality, and risk expectations.

Objective 4: ESG & Sustainability

Drive Scope 3 ESG initiatives, track supplier ESG data, maintain dashboards, and engage suppliers to improve sustainability performance.

Objective 5: HQ Buyer & Platform Support

Support HQ buyers with RFPs, benchmarking, and negotiations, validate costs as QS, manage space categories, and issue vendor communications.

Objective 6: Supplier & Issue Resolution

Act as escalation point for supplier issues, resolve disputes through negotiation, and coordinate cross-functional solutions.

Objective 7: Procurement Governance & Cost Validation

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, validate cost structures and contracts, review ERP approvals, and benchmark pricing against market trends.

Objective 8: Global Strategy & Process Improvement

Contribute to global procurement governance, tools, and continuous improvement, and support rollout of platform-level processes and standards.

Objective 9: Cross-Functional Collaboration & Special Projects

Collaborate with project, engineering, legal, finance teams, and support strategic procurement initiatives across regions.

Objective 10: Operational Support & Tracking

Coordinate vendor meetings and MoMs, manage supplier onboarding, track POs and variation orders, and monitor procurement budgets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 812 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial roles, preferably in data centers, infrastructure, construction, energy, or large capital projects.
  • Strong experience in multi-country or regional procurement, preferably from an HQ or platform role supporting local teams.
  • Proven capability in RFP/RFQ management, supplier evaluation, contract commercial review, and cost benchmarking.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement dashboards, data analysis, MIS reporting, and advanced Excel; exposure to Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Exposure to ESG and sustainability in procurement (Scope 3, supplier ESG data, reporting) is preferred.
  • Comfortable supporting new market entry and fast-paced project environments; willing to travel occasionally for business needs
  • Expected to work additional hours as required by the nature of the work assignment and job duties. And countries time zone (APAC)
