Salary: $110k - $145k + bonus
We are partnering with a leading global infrastructure developer to appoint a hands-on Procurement Manager for their APAC headquarters in Singapore. This is a strategic role within the regional delivery team, focusing on the end-to-end procurement of long-lead equipment and M&E plant for multi-billion dollar projects across Australia, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
While experience in the data centre sector is an advantage, it is not essential. We are looking for a construction procurement specialist who understands the complexities of large-scale, high-spec industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement strategy for critical infrastructure, including heavy electrical systems (HV/MV), HVAC/cooling solutions, and specialist plant.
- Personally execute the end-to-end tender process, from vendor pre-qualification and RFP issuance to final contract award and negotiation.
- Drive procurement activities for active builds and upcoming tenders in Australia, Japan, and Malaysia.
- Partner with Project Directors and Engineering teams to mitigate supply chain risks and navigate lead-time volatility for big-ticket items.
- Draft and negotiate complex supply and service agreements, ensuring robust commercial protection and risk mitigation.
Experience
- 7 to 10 years of professional procurement experience within the Construction, EPC, or Heavy Industrial sectors (e.g., Power, Oil & Gas, Semiconductors, or Wafer Fabs).
- Proven track record in procuring major M&E equipment and plant as this is a technical construction role.
- You must be a doer who is comfortable running your own tenders and managing the commercial heavy lifting personally.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 15%) to key project sites for stakeholder engagement and vendor management.
