A global aerospace manufacturer with operations in Singapore and Malaysia is seeking a procurement leader to support its OEM activities. The organization specializes in precision components and works closely with major engine manufacturers, airlines, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement teams across Singapore OEM and Malaysia sites, ensuring effective execution, coaching, and performance management.
- Drive key procurement KPIs such as ontime delivery, backlog reduction, cost performance, and supplier responsiveness.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, covering supplier selection, development, consolidation, and longterm supply initiatives.
- Oversee global/regional commodity management, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and costreduction goals.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and improvement plans while ensuring quality, delivery, cost, and risk standards are met.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts to support operational, quality, and cost objectives.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services in accordance with internal policies.
- Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities to support sourcing and negotiation decisions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on supplier qualification, new product introduction, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and guide the team on bid packages, negotiation strategies, and supplier engagement.
- Support crossfunctional initiatives and special supply chain projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 510 years of supply chain or procurement experience in aerospace, OEM, or engineertoorder manufacturing.
- Strong leadership progression within manufacturing or regulated industries.
- Solid understanding of production flows, inventory management, and documentation processes.
- Strong financial/business acumen and ability to influence, lead change, and drive results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
