Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Formulate and execute the global procurement strategy for AI Data Center (AIDC) hardware and infrastructure. Spearhead vendor development, evaluation, and end-to-end lifecycle management for core assets, including GPU/NPU clusters, servers, networking equipment, and liquid cooling systems.
  • Global Supply Chain Optimization: Establish a robust global procurement and supply chain framework. Optimize cross-border sourcing processes to drive cost reduction, accelerate delivery lead times, and ensure quality assurance, effectively supporting the large-scale deployment of thousand-GPU AI computing clusters.
  • Project Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively engage in the planning of overseas AIDC projects. Collaborate closely with technical teams to drive component selection, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations for critical materials such as GPU/AI chips, high-performance networking gear (e.g., InfiniBand/RoCE switches), and storage systems.
  • Resource Integration & Vendor Management: Lead the integration of international supply chain resources and build a strategic supplier portfolio. Manage global vendors and ODM partnerships to secure capacity prioritization and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee procurement compliance, ensuring strict adherence to import/export controls, tariff policies, ESG standards, and supply chain security protocols. Develop contingency plans to navigate geopolitical risks and logistical disruptions.


Qualifications

  • :Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in global procurement, with at least 5 years specifically focused on hardware for overseas AI/Supercomputing Data Centers (AIDC)
  • .Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the procurement landscape for core AIDC equipment. Strong familiarity with technical specifications and the industrial ecosystem of GPU architectures, high-speed networking (InfiniBand/NVLink), and liquid cooling systems. Proven track record of leading procurement and delivery for single projects exceeding $10 million USD
  • .Global Network: Proven experience in establishing comprehensive international supply chain frameworks and extensive knowledge of mainstream supplier networks across various regions. Demonstrated success in managing multinational procurement projects (e.g., overseas supercomputing center construction)
  • .Cost Optimization & Negotiation: Exceptional cost-control and negotiation capabilities, with a solid understanding of commodity pricing models. Demonstrated ability to achieve 15%+ cost optimization through strategic agreements, VMI (Vendor-Managed Inventory), JIT (Just-In-Time), or similar models
  • .Trade & Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, encompassing import/export compliance, international trade terms (Incoterms), and logistics/customs clearance. Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or SCMP (formerly PMAC) are highly preferred
  • .Systems & Data Skills: Proficient in utilizing ERP/SRM systems and advanced procurement analytics tools. Ability to perform data modeling using Python or SQL is a strong plus
  • .Soft Skills: Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin. Proven experience in managing cross-cultural teams and willingness to undertake international business travel
