NES Fircroft is supporting an organization in the energy and power generation sector that is strengthening its supply chain team to support operations and commissioning activities at a major industrial facility in Singapore. We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager on a contract basis.

This role will support procurement operations, supplier engagement, and purchasing activities to ensure the efficient sourcing of goods and services in accordance with internal policies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

. Support procurement activities for indirect goods and services required for operational and project needs.

. Manage procurement processes including request for quotation (RFQ), invitation to tender (ITT), and vendor evaluations.

. Work closely with internal stakeholders to define procurement requirements and support supplier selection.

. Prepare commercial comparison summaries and evaluation documentation for tender submissions.

. Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and quality standards.

. Issue and manage purchase orders and procurement documentation in line with company procedures.

. Monitor supplier performance and address any delivery, quality, or contractual issues.

. Maintain vendor databases and support vendor onboarding processes.

. Assist in improving procurement processes, templates, and documentation standards.

. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.

. At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within engineering, infrastructure, energy, or industrial environments.

. Familiarity with procurement processes, tender management, and supplier negotiations.

. Experience using procurement management systems or ERP platforms is advantageous.

. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

. Willingness to be based at an industrial facility in Jurong Island.

Preferred Experience

. Experience working with government-linked organizations, utilities, or industrial operators.

. Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Tenderboard, Maximo, SAP, or similar systems.
