Procurement & Logistics Executive

We are looking for a Procurement & Logistics Executive to join the Saint-Gobain Singapore team.This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement and logistics operations to ensure timely,cost-effective supply of goods and smooth movement of materials. The successful incumbent involves supplier management, purchasing, shipment coordination, and inventory control to support business operations efficiently.

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

Manage full procurement cycle: RFQ →quotation comparison → PO issuance → delivery follow-up.

Monitor supplier performance and address quality or delivery issues.

Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and supplier database.

Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries and transport arrangements.

Liaise with freight forwarders,transporters, and customs agents for smooth clearance.

Track shipments and resolve delays,damages, or discrepancies.

Ensure proper documentation(invoice, DO, packing list, customs documents).

Monitor logistics performance and optimize routes, cost, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Procurement & Logistics,or related field.

Analytical thinking (cost control, supplier comparison).

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Problem-solving(handling delivery or supply disruptions).

Detail-oriented and process-driven.

Ableto work independently as well as a good team player.

Possess positive work attitude, willing to learn and have good time management skill.

Strong sense of urgency and accountability in completing tasks.
