Procurement Lead - IT/ Electronic Part (Independent Distributor /Broker) - East

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the IT distribution industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Purchasing Lead to oversee and optimize the buyers operational performance and ensure effective sourcing strategies. The role is based in (East) Singapore - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee buyers daily operations, including workload management, pricing, negotiation, delivery, order closure, backlog, and expediting control.

• Track and monitor buyer performance across key metrics implement training and coaching programs.

• Provide guidance on requisitions and negotiation strategies.

• Manage team workload and collaborate with sales leaders on customer coverage.

• Monitor vendor offers and requisitions to ensure key opportunities are captured.

• Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies and processes.

• Collaborate with Global Commodity Managers on sourcing approaches and supplier portfolios.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing operations.

• Supply chain management experience is an added advantage.
