The Procurement Executive is responsible for executing end-to-end procurement activities for wastewater treatment projects & reuse systems, ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and services in compliance with project schedules, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement activities as per project procurement plans, BOQs, drawings and technical specifications
- Support sourcing of process equipment, mechanical items, electrical & instrumentation materials, consumables and services required
- Assist in preparation and issuance of PRFs to approved vendors
- Collect, compile, and tabulate vendor quotations for comparison & ISO compliance
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers for technical clarifications and approvals
- Assist in preparation and release of purchase orders/work orders after internal approvals
- Follow up with vendors for manufacturing status, delivery schedules, and dispatch
- Support expediting to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and site materials
- Assist in coordinating inspection, FAT, and documentation under guidance of senior team members
- Maintain procurement documentation including POs, inspection reports, test certificates, manuals, and delivery
- Coordinate with logistics and stores teams for transportation and material receipt at site
- Update procurement data in required systems
- Assist in monitoring inventory to avoid material shortages or excess stock at site
- Escalate delays, technical deviations, and vendor issues to senior procurement staff

Qualifications & Experience
- Min. Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Environmental) or Supply Chain / Commerce
- 3 years of experience in procurement or water treatment projects support roles
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of industrial wastewater treatment systems
- Ability to read BOQs and datasheets
- Good coordination and follow-up skills
- Willingness to learn techno-commercial evaluation and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word etc.
