Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to support our robotics and maritime operations. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services, while also managing ship orders and purchase coordination to keep our global operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with Neptune Robotics innovation and sustainability goals.
- Handle shipping orders and equipment purchase coordination, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with maritime technology standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to forecast procurement needs for robotics and AI systems.
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and shipping documentation in line with company policies.
- Track procurement KPIs (cost savings, lead times, supplier performance) and report to management.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and sustainability standards in procurement activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Min 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management (preferably in technology, robotics, or maritime industries).Experience in shipping management and international purchasing is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Knowledge of robotics, automation, or maritime technology procurement is a plus.
