Procurement Executive

Job Summary

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the organization. The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality compliance, and timely delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and service providers

Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers

Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for purchasing needs

Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

Maintain procurement records, documentation, and supplier databases

Evaluate supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality or delivery

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements

Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Good analytical and cost-evaluation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement/ERP systems

Knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management

Strong organizational and time-management abilities
