Eigen Energy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Our technical competencies span engineering and construction, energy management, software engineering, and cross-platform integration.
We're looking for a Procurement Executive who can do more than run a purchasing desk - someone who can design, build, and continuously improve the processes that keep our procurement and supply chain running smoothly. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll own both the day-to-day purchasing function and the systems and workflows behind it, helping us scale as the business grows.
What you'll do:
- Design, document, and refine procurement and supply chain processes - from sourcing and purchase-order workflows to vendor management and inventory control
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current operations and implement practical improvements
- Build procurement strategies that support high-delivery, short-lead-time requirements
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors
- Manage daily purchasing operations, including planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders, deliveries, and shipment schedules
- Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors
- Control inbound costs (freight, customs duties, and related charges), physical distribution costs (warehousing and outbound freight), and other logistics costs, including obsolete and slow-moving stock
- Evaluate vendor quotations against the technical and commercial specifications required for each project
- Support the annual ISO performance review for vendors
- Account for inbound and outbound warehousing goods and conduct warehouse audits
What you'll need:
- A Diploma in Supply Chain or a related field
- A process-oriented mindset - you naturally look for better, cleaner ways of doing things and can turn them into repeatable systems
- A responsible, self-driven approach with strong multitasking ability
- A working understanding of goods receiving, sales, purchasing, quotation, and inventory procedures
- Confidence with Excel, ERP systems, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have:
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics, ideally with exposure to process design or improvement
- Experience working in a construction company
- Familiarity with process-improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
- Strong analytical and project-management skills
