about the job
Take full ownership of the regional trade product procurement, and provide vital cross-boarder supply chain support to overseas manufacturing facilities from a fully remote workspace.

• End-to-End Trade Procurement: Lead the sourcing, price negotiation, supplier management, and order execution for assigned trade products to ensure a stable, cost-effective supply chain.

• Cross-Border Plant Support: Provide critical procurement, material sourcing, and delivery tracking support for manufacturing plants in Vietnam and Mexico to prevent production line disruptions.

• Global Strategy & Liaison: Serve as the central communication pivot between the Singapore regional hub and the domestic headquarters to implement global supply chain strategies.

• Market Intelligence & Optimisation: Monitor regional chemical market trends, execute regular supplier evaluations, and continuously optimise the supplier pool to drive cost savings.

• Compliance & Trade Norms: Ensure all procurement and logistics activities adhere strictly to Southeast Asian chemical trade process norms, customs procedures, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

skills and experience required

• Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required to facilitate daily reporting, alignment and strategic collaboration with headquarters in China.
• Min. 3 years of hands-on procurement experience dedicated strictly to chemical raw materials with a solid grasp of chemical properties, procurement standards, and regional supplier networks.
