Procurement Excellence provides leadership, insight, and support to the global procurement function to drive the implementation of next-generation procurement and deliver the company and procurement vision. Our ambition is to build best-in-class, harmonized and flawless practices, tools, and processes to support the Procurement Transformation program and contribute to the top line and bottom line of Dyson.
As part of the Procurement Excellence team, you will play a critical role in shaping and embedding a highperformance, futureready procurement function across Dyson.
This role focuses on driving process excellence, standardisation, and continuous improvement across indirect procurement (primary) while supporting targeted direct procurement initiatives (secondary). You will work at the intersection of process, digital tools, and data, enabling procurement teams to operate with greater efficiency, transparency, and control.
You will act as a change agent, partnering with global procurement and business stakeholders to simplify ways of working, embed a consistent operating model, and unlock value through automation, digitalisation, and emerging AI capabilities.
Key responsibilities
Drive Process Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
Identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities across indirect procurement and selected direct categories
Lead structured improvement initiatives delivering cycle time reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity gains
Ensure all initiatives are linked to clear value creation and business impact
Process Governance, Mapping & Standardisation
Define, document, and standardise endtoend procurement processes, aligned to Dysons global operating model
Develop and maintain process documentation, RACI frameworks, and governance structures
Ensure consistent adoption of processes across regions and categories, enabling scalability and compliance
Project & Portfolio Management
Build and manage a portfolio of process improvement and transformation initiatives, aligned to procurement priorities
Define clear business cases, success metrics, and value delivery targets for each initiative
Monitor and report project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
Digitalisation, Automation & AI Enablement
Identify and implement opportunities to digitise and automate procurement processes (e.g. workflow automation, analytics, self-service tools)
Collaborate with digital and relevant stakeholders to enhance platforms such as Ariba and P2P systems.
Drive adoption of data-driven decision making, leveraging dashboards and advanced analytics
Explore and pilot AI-enabled use cases in procurement (e.g. contract insights, guided buying, procurement orchestration)
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Partner with procurement category teams, business stakeholders, and functional leaders to co-develop solutions
Lead change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working
Build strong relationships across regions and functions to drive alignment and influence decision-making
Communicate clearly on transformation progress, benefits, and required actions
University degree Master's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business & Administrations or other related field
Experience in project management, procurement, supply chain, or related fields.
Proven track record in delivering transformation programs and in change management methodologies and driving organizational adoption
Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills, able to bring others on the journey.
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable in a global, cross-functional and fast-moving environment.
Demonstrated experience in business process mapping and standardisation
Experience in digital procurement tools and systems (e.g. Ariba, P2P platforms, analytics tools)
Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable process solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across different seniority levels
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured problem solving
