Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Engineer role based in Singapore. The Procurement Engineer will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, preparing and issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and negotiating pricing and terms in line with project requirements and company policies. Daily responsibilities include reviewing technical specifications, coordinating with engineering and project teams, processing purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and ensuring materials and equipment meet quality and safety standards. The role will also involve maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing cost and vendor performance data, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes to support offshore rig and project operations.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) skills for sourcing and assessing vendors and proposals.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Purchase Orders and related procurement documentation for accurate and timely order processing.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to compare bids, optimize costs, and support data-driven procurement decisions.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field (diploma or degree level) are beneficial.
  • Experience in the oil and gas, offshore, or heavy industrial sectors, including familiarity with technical specifications and industry standards, is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and proficiency with ERP or procurement software are preferred.
