Job Description

This is not a full-time Procurement Director vacancy

Remoat Teams is recruiting for one client and wants to hear from current and former Procurement Directors, including independent advisors, consultants, portfolio professionals, and retired executives.

Remoat Teams handles applications and introductions. Selected Client Partners work directly with the client; its identity and engagement terms are shared during the call.

This flexible contractor opportunity includes a retainer plus commission—not full-time or commission-only. Positive feasibility signals support pursuing seven-figure engagements through a technology-enabled outsourcing model. We need procurement leaders who can open ethical, transparent conversations with authorized stakeholders.

Why your procurement background matters

You know why enterprise-services purchases advance, stall, or fail. You understand category strategy, stakeholder alignment, commercial evaluation, risk, contracting, and supplier onboarding. You may also know operations and procurement leaders across regional businesses who are reviewing providers or preparing new sourcing initiatives.

Your role is to identify and open appropriate conversations. You will never be asked to manipulate a procurement process, disclose confidential information, or compromise your professional independence.

What you will do

  • Identify organizations in your network where outsourced services, BPO, managed operations, or external delivery are relevant categories.
  • Make transparent warm introductions to authorized business or procurement stakeholders.
  • Help the client team understand the legitimate buying path, likely evaluation criteria, and stakeholder map.
  • Qualify whether there is a real business problem and a reasonable next step.
  • Support early conversations when your category expertise adds value.
  • Leave solutioning, formal pursuit, negotiation, and delivery to the client team.

What you should bring

  • Current or previous experience as a Procurement Director, Strategic Sourcing leader, or equivalent.
  • Trusted relationships with procurement, operations, shared-services, finance, or vendor-management leaders.
  • Experience with enterprise-services categories and complex supplier decisions.
  • Evidence of materially influencing seven-figure sourcing decisions or enterprise engagements.
  • The ability to make permitted, credible introductions rather than rely on cold outreach.

What you can expect

  • A fully remote and flexible contractor opportunity.
  • A retainer; this is not commission-only.
  • Commission tied to revenue from accounts you originate under agreed attribution rules.
  • Meaningful upside if an introduction leads to a seven-figure engagement.
  • Client-side ownership of the formal sales, solution, contracting, and delivery process.

The retainer, commission structure, attribution rules, and payment timing will be discussed during the call.

Current procurement leaders may participate only when their employer permits outside advisory work. You may not introduce the client into a process you control, influence an award improperly, share confidential sourcing information, or act contrary to policy or law. Any potential conflict must be disclosed before an introduction is made.
