Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement strategy for Energy and Fertilizer commodities across global mills, with a focus on Southeast Asia
- Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with global business objectives
- Build and manage strong partnerships with vendors, traders, and internal stakeholders
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and deliver against assigned savings targets
- Monitor and analyze market trends to provide actionable insights and purchasing decisions
- Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial deals/trades including execution and risk considerations
- Lead or support strategic projects (e.g., acquisitions, JVs, investments) to create long-term value
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance supply resilience and quality standards
- Provide regular market intelligence updates to senior leadership
- Act as a key global point of contact for energy and fertilizer procurement matters
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Business (Master's preferred)
- Proven experience managing large procurement spend or trading book (≥ USD 200M annually)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in direct procurement and/or commodities trading
- Strong knowledge of energy and/or fertilizer markets (buy-side or trading exposure preferred)
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to drive strategic initiatives
- Proven track record in negotiation and value delivery
- Experience in market analysis and translating data into strategy
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment
- Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
