ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Halal, ISO 22000:2018, ESG, and internal governance standards, including sourcing Halal-certified products and services.
- Manage Halal certificates, supplier documentation, sustainability records and regulatory fillings, ensuring compliance with HalMQ requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct Halal inspections, supplier audits, and compliance reviews, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Support Halal licensing applications, renewals, and regulatory coordination with the Halal Team Leader, relevant authorities, and appointed consultants.
- Coordinate purchasing operations, including supplier onboarding, purchase orders, logistics coordination, and inventory support across outlets and central kitchen.
- Support sourcing and tender exercises to secure cost-effective and sustainable supply of goods and services.
- Liaise with operations, chefs, suppliers, and finance teams to ensure procurement efficiency and supply continuity.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier master data, compliance records, and ESG documentation to ensure transparency, traceability and audit readiness.
REQUIREMENTS
- Muslim candidate with relevant experience in Halal operations is a plus
- Min diploma in business or supply chain related discipline
- Adaptable and able to respond effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Detail oriented and meticulous with the ability to work within deadlines
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally
- Able to work independently and as well as in dynamic team
