Job Description

Join DP World's APAC Regional Office and support the procurement and Accounts Payable operations that keep our business running smoothly. You'll take ownership of supplier onboarding, vendor master data, purchase order processing and supplier payments, while working closely with Finance, business stakeholders and suppliers across the Regional Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Verify supplier information, including tax, banking and legal documentation, before vendor creation in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve onboarding issues and support timely vendor approvals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier master data.
  • Create, review and process purchase orders, ensuring they are accurate, approved and issued to suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support timely delivery and fulfilment.
  • Work closely with the Finance and Accounts Payable teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, support timely supplier payments, and provide backup support to ensure business continuity.
  • Maintain procurement records, including supplier contracts, quotations, purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and provide procurement support.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and supplier management processes.
  • Perform other procurement, finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. ACCA or equivalent qualifications are an advantage.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Finance Operations or Accounts Payable.
  • Hands-on experience in supplier onboarding, vendor master data management and purchase order processing.
  • Experience in invoice reconciliation or Accounts Payable will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team when required.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using Oracle Fusion or a similar ERP system
