We are looking to hire a Process Safety Lead to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for process safety delivery for large-scale pharmaceutical projects in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Perform process safety calculations such as relief valve sizing to ensure system safety and compliance
- Lead process hazard analyses including HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA reviews to identify and mitigate risks
- Prepare safety reports to meet regulatory requirements for hazardous sites
- Develop and implement health and safety services, safety management systems, and conduct risk assessments aligned with OHSAS 18001 standards
- Conduct toxic dispersion, fire, and explosion modeling to evaluate potential hazards and support safety planning
- Execute safety audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities
- Evaluate chemical reaction hazards to prevent unsafe conditions in process operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 10 years of experience in process design and/or plant operations supporting safety engineering activities
- Strong understanding of process safety engineering principles and process safety management systems
- Familiarity with local EHS legislation
