Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team focused on enhancing process safety within the industry. Contribute your expertise to manage hazards and drive safety initiatives at our site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, assessment, and management of process hazards. Investigate and analyze process safety incidents to improve safety practices. Oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process and maintain the associated database. Advise on the design and operation of process control systems. Ensure adherence to process safety goals at the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with approximately 10 years of experience in the sector. Strong knowledge of chemical plant operations and process engineering, including ESH compliance programs. Detailed understanding of risk and hazard management processes such as HAZOP, LOPA, ETA, QRA, etc. In-depth knowledge of safety safeguards, including interlocks, SIS design criteria, mechanical protection, and inherent safety design. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Good communication abilities and technical expertise to present information effectively. Proficiency in computer applications, including standard software, SAP, and effects modeling tools (e.g., PHAST). Commitment to staying updated on the latest engineering design developments. Prior experience in commissioning and startup operations will be advantageous. Willingness to work onsite at Jurong Island with company-provided transport.
