Process Safety Engineer (Energy Storage and Logistics industry)

We are partnering with a global leader in energy storage and logistics, to hire a Process Safety Engineer for their Singapore terminal.

In this role, you'll drive Process Safety Management (PSM) implementation and continuous improvement, ensuring safe and reliable operations across the site. You'll collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, HSSE and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with Singapore's Major Hazard Installation (MHI) requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support PSM initiatives to identify, assess and control process safety risks.
• Conduct process safety reviews, risk assessments, and hazard studies for existing and new facilities.
• Monitor key safety performance indicators and support audits, compliance reviews and incident investigations.
• Contribute to MHI Safety Case development and promote continuous improvement in process safety practices.
• Build process safety awareness and competency within the organisation through training and engagement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Around 6-10 years of relevant process safety experience in oil, gas, petrochemical or chemical industries.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience in PSM, HAZOP/LOPA, risk assessments and incident investigation.
