Role Overview

The Process Mapping Consultant will be responsible fordesigning and documenting end-to-end business process maps across key insurancefunctions. The role requires deep domain expertise in Life & Healthinsurance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely withbusiness and technology stakeholders in an agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop comprehensive end-to-end process maps across critical insurance functions such as Agency, Finance, Operations, and Risk, clearly outlining process flows, system interactions, data handoffs, key risk points, and recommended mitigation controls.
  2. Document core system data flows into the Data Warehouse (DWH) and articulate how downstream outputs (reports, payments, and journal entries) are generated, with a strong focus on agent compensation and incentive processes.
  3. Partner with business and technology teams to analyze existing processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements aligned with regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
  4. Ensure process documentation adheres to enterprise standards and supports auditability, risk management, and change impact analysis.
  5. Operate effectively within an agile delivery model, contributing to iterative solution design and supporting delivery outcomes with a strong execution mindset.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 7+ years of experience (preferable prior consulting background) in the Life & Health insurance domain, with strong hands-on knowledge of Agency, Finance, and Operations processes.
  2. Proven expertise in process mapping and documentation, including the use of industry standard process mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
  3. Strong understanding of insurance data flows, particularly how transactional systems integrate with Data Warehouses to support reporting, payments, and accounting.
  4. Prior experience with insurance platforms such as LifeAsia and enterprise Data Warehouse solutions is highly preferred.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex processes and communicate them clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  6. Strong ownership mindset with a track record of delivering high quality outcomes in fast paced, cross functional environments.
