As a Process Integration & Yield Enhancement Engineer of Micron, you will be responsible for driving manufacturing performance through systematic variability reduction across assembly and test. You will leverage statistical analysis and advanced data analytics to rapidly identify yield improvement opportunities and support timely, accurate production issue resolution. Through daily analysis of inline, alarm, electrical test, and experimental data, you will enable best-in-class yield, quality and reliability performance in high-volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Demonstrates strong understanding of yield analysis methodologies, Backend assembly and test processes, and their characteristic impacts on yield, quality and product performance.
Apply knowledge of semiconductor device behavior, materials, and backend manufacturing processes to diagnose and resolve yield and reliability issues using statistical and datadriven analysis tools.
Identify and communicate process-, material-, and equipmentrelated yield sensitivities to assembly and test process owners and actively support corrective actions and process optimization.
Collaborate effectively with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Process and Equipment teams, while understanding cross-functional constraints.
Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to resolve complex processing and design challenges impacting product quality.
Develop and maintain clear Pareto analysis of yield and quality limiters for assigned products to drive focused improvement actions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present data, document analysis, and provide clear recommendations and next steps to ensure project objectives are achieved within target timelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
