Purpose: Managing and leading a team responsible for the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, or plants to ensure manufacturing excellence and meet customer demands and targets. Being a Process Engineering Manager, having to strategize and map the technology roadmap to stay competitive. Ensuring the optimization of resources to increase productivity. He/she will expect to lead the team for continuous improvement.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Oversees process engineering efforts on cost savings opportunities, support for new products (NPI), and tracking expenses.
- Ensure optimization and improvement of equipment and processes for long-term robustness and reliability.
- Oversee the conceptual analysis of new capital projects while implementing engineering standards and best practices in project design.
- Motivation and development of a world-class processing team.
- Troubleshoot and lead the repair of process equipment and systems as required.
- Understand new processes and manufacturing methods.
- Have good analytical skills to handle quality issues and meet customer quality expectations.
- Participate in management team policies formulation and strategies of the factory.
- People management, ensuring the team is fully equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Qualification & Experiences:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision or Industrial Engineering)
- At least 10 years of experience in process management in the manufacturing assembly environment.
- Strategic, creative, and systemic thinking
- Experience in system setup
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team will be a plus
- Lean Six Sigma certification will be an advantage
