Responsibilities:
- Support new product launches by developing manufacturing processes, tooling concepts, cost models, and technical documentation to ensure smooth transition into production.
- Lead and optimize production processes for electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies, including fabrication, inspection, testing, and fixture development.
- Utilize knowledge of electronic manufacturing and testing principles to improve product reliability and efficiency.
- Manage concurrent projects within tight schedules, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost control.
- Create and maintain detailed production documentation such as work instructions, technical drawings, schematics, and process specifications.
- Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor and mentor operators to enhance workmanship and productivity.
- Troubleshoot assembly-related issues, including on-site customer support for repairs, rework, and technical problem resolution.
- Administer production data and change management processes, including bill of materials updates, engineering revisions, and system records.
- Support pilot runs, validation builds, and full-scale production to ensure products meet technical and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience mentoring and training junior technical staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Skilled in the use of CAD software for technical design work.
- Capable of creating and interpreting 2D and 3D technical drawings, including mechanical and cable layouts, bills of materials, operating and test procedures, schematics, and interconnection diagrams.
- Possess foundational knowledge in both mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Able to perform effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Demonstrate innovative thinking in resolving technical challenges with practical engineering solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong perseverance and commitment to excellence.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
