Process Engineer (Water Membrane)

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Engineering
• Design and optimize membrane-based water treatment and separation processes (RO, UF, NF, MF)
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and mass balance calculations
• Provide technical support for pilot trials, product validation, and system commissioning
• Sales Support
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical guidance and propose customized solutions to clients
• Prepare technical proposals, system configurations, and performance projections
• Attend customer meetings, site visits, and trade shows as needed
• Product Development & Innovation
• Work with the R&D team to test and validate new membrane products in real-world conditions
• Gather customer feedback and translate it into product or process improvement recommendations
• Training & Documentation
• Develop technical documentation, O&M manuals, and training materials
• Conduct internal and external training on membrane technology and system operation

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in membrane-based water or wastewater treatment processes
• Strong knowledge of membrane technologies (RO, UF, NF, MF) and system integration
• Ability to read technical drawings and use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Aspen, WaterCAD)
• Commercial mindset with experience supporting sales or customer-facing roles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts clearly
• Willingness to travel regionally for customer support and commissioning activities
