Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects including new product implementations and process modifications. Initiate and implement yield enhancement projects through machine mechanization and process optimization. Collaborate with inter-plant teams to execute improvement projects and lead the Work Improvement Team. Support production in resolving excursions by utilizing the 4M method to determine root causes and establish corrective and preventive actions. Conduct method studies and employ quality tools such as DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and Statistical Testing. Develop, implement, and continuously refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Design and install new machinery to establish innovative process flows aimed at achieving significant production efficiency improvements. Manage and document all engineering drawings and engineering change notices. Oversee the Quality Change Process Checklist for new product transfers. Collaborate with the training department to develop and implement training programs that enhance operational readiness for production personnel. Lead a team of project managers and process staff to successfully complete assigned projects.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Process, Mechanical, or Production Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer within a manufacturing setting. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies. Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools. Experience in the electronics or semiconductor sector is advantageous.
