Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects, including new product introduction, product transfer, process enhancements, equipment upgrades, and material assessments

• Drive yield improvement initiatives by leveraging process optimization and automation/mechanization techniques

• Work closely with other plants to roll out improvement initiatives and lead Work Improvement Team (WIT) activities

• Provide technical support to production during process deviations, applying 4M analysis (Man, Machine, Material, Method) to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Apply and utilize quality and engineering methodologies such as DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and statistical analysis to enhance process capability

• Design, implement, and continuously refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, output, and product quality

• Develop new process flows, including the specification, setup, and commissioning of machinery to achieve significant improvements in productivity and reliability

• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings and ECNs, while leading engineering evaluation activities

• Oversee the Quality Change Process Checklist (QCPC) for new product introductions and transfers

• Collaborate with the training team to establish and deliver training programs that strengthen production readiness and workforce capability

• Lead and manage a team of Process Engineers/Project Members to ensure successful completion of assigned initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Process, Mechanical, or Production Engineering

• Relevant experience in a Process Engineer role within a manufacturing environment

• Solid knowledge of manufacturing systems, equipment, and process technologies

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with hands-on experience in root cause analysis

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams

• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement tools

• Prior exposure to the electronics or semiconductor industry will be an added advantage

• Open to long-term assignment in Indonesia
